Famous for being the only Major League Baseball team outside the United States to have won the World Series, Toronto Blue Jays is presently the only Canadian team in the major league baseball which is located in the Eastern Division of the American League. The well known team is currently based in Toronto, Ontario and they became the only Major League Canadian baseball team as the Expos that were transferred to Washington, DC to simply be the Washington Nationals just after the season in 2004.

 

The Jays already won two World Series titles, two American League pennants and five East Division titles. The team’s performance in 1982 was remarkable as they accomplished a 78-84 record and their key players at that time were Dave Stieb, Jim Clancy and Luis Leal. In the following year, the Jays won their first winning record with an 89-73 record. It was in 1990 when the team had a strong season again and had finished second placing behind the Boston Red Sox. In 1992, the team had won their second consecutive American League East title where they had garnered a 96-66 record.     

 

The team’s record in 2002 was 78 wins and 84 losses but one year after, the Jays had improved in their playing career and were able to make 86 wins and 76 losses for the 2003 season. They had amazingly maintained their record until the 2006 season.
