Also known as the “Wizard of Oz”, Ozzie Smith was born in Mobile, Alabama on December 26, 1954. He was highly established as one of the most outstanding players of all time. The teams he had played with during his major League Baseball career are the San Diego Padres and the St. Louis Cardinals.
With great performances on field, Ozzie Smith had earned various honors from different baseball sporting events such as the National League Championship Series wherein he was named as the Most Valuable Player in the year 1985 making the Ozzie Smith autographed ""HOF"" baseball a valuable item. He had also received a Gold Glove award at shortstop for 13 times from 1980 up to 1992.
