Started his Major League career in the 2003 season, Miguel Cabrera is a Major League Baseball player that is currently playing for the Florida Marlins. He was born in Maracay, Aragua State on April 18, 1983. Cabrera, who bats and throws right-handed, is the regular third baseman for the Florida Marlins in 2007 season. On June 20, 2003, Cabrera made his major league debut and was able to hit a walk-off home run. That was as astounding performance as a rookie. His good performance in playing the league, made him to become the team’s cleanup batter.
As the 2004 season came, Cabrera was able to record a batting average of .294, 33 homers, 112 RBI, 101 runs, 177 hits and a .366 on base percentage. That was named a very good performance. His first Silver Slugger award was won in the 2005 season, a year after it, he again won the same award. But as the 2006 season came, Cabrera started the year with an honor when he was voted to the All-Star team. All through July 5, 2007, Cabrera Major League baseball statistics recorded a batting average of .312, home runs of 121 and 462 BRI. He also made it to the National League All-Star team in the years 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 which counts as one of his accomplishments in playing the league.
