One the best ever pitchers in Major Baseball League history, Don Larsen was born in Michigan City, Indiana on August 7 1929. Among the teams Don Larsen played were St. Louise Brown, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees, Kansas City Athletics, Chicago White Sox, San Francisco Giants, Houston Colt 45’s, Houston Astros and Chicago Cubs.
During the baseball career of Larsen, he had greatly made impacts on his teams. Larsen was awarded as the MVP in the World Series in the year 1956. At the same time, Larsen received the Babe Ruth Award. Gifted with incomparable skills in pitching, Larsen was a prominent pitcher for 14 seasons in the Major Baseball League.
The highlight of Don Larsen’s career was during the World Series in 1956, for having earned the perfect pitched game. During the World Series Cup in October 8, 1962, six years after he had his perfect pitch, he made another remarkable game where Larsen grabbed their team’s victory. This was during the Game 4 that had again made another memorable mark in Don Larsen’s carrier in baseball.
