Catch the Moment when Cal Ripken, Jr. broke Lou Gehrig's 56-year record of most consecutive games played. On Sept. 6, 1995, Ripken set a new record of 2,131 consecutive games played. He took a victory lap in the fifth inning during a 22-minute standing ovation. The legendary third baseman retired after 21 seasons with the Baltimore Orioles, with whom he not only broke Gehrig's record of most consecutive games played, but became a member of the 3,000-hit club and crushed 431 home runs, all of which earned him a spot in the Baseball Hall of Fame's Class of 2007. Cal Ripken, Jr. has hand signed this 24x38 deluxe two-photograph framed collage. A Stacks of Plaques Certificate of Authenticity is included along with a nameplate describing the moment.
